The Employee Development Center is responsible for providing and coordinating all department-wide initial training, re-qualification and development programs and assisting institutions and facilities in the development of in-house training efforts. The Employee Development Center is also responsible for the department's Employee Assistance Program and Post Trauma and Mentoring Programs.
EDC is now utilizing the DLC (Delaware Learning Center) to track all in-house departmental training. This system will allow individuals to view all available and completed training by clicking on the Learning Center icon on your work area desktop pc and selecting view transcript. The DLC will also deliver all on-line training to staff as well as offering many courses delivered by state wide agencies. In order to have any outside training captured in DLC, please follow the directions on your transcript page.
