Adam Balick

Adam Balick is an attorney in private practice who serves as chairman of the Delaware Correctional Reentry Commission. Between 1989 and 1995, Mr. Balick served as a criminal prosecutor in the Delaware Attorney General’s Office. After leaving the Attorney General’s Office, he went to work at the Wilmington law firm, Balick & Balick. Over the past twenty-five years Mr. Balick has been active in criminal justice initiatives. He serves on the Delaware Supreme Court Delaware Access to Justice Commission, where he was chairman of the Committee on Policing. He currently serves as co-chairman of the Committee on Fairness in the Criminal Justice System, which has led efforts to reform the money bail system and expand alternatives to incarceration among other things.
