President Judge Jurden has served on the Superior Court since 2001. Prior to joining the Superior Court, she was a litigation partner in the law firm of Young, Conaway, Stargatt & Taylor. Prior to college and law school, Judge Jurden served overseas in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. Judge Jurden serves as co-chairwomen of the Criminal Justice Council of the Judiciary and the Human Trafficking Interagency Coordinating Council. She is founder and chairwomen of the Sisters in Success Program and the Criminal Justice Mental Health Special Needs Population Committee.
