MISSION

To create, protect and sustain a diverse and inclusive work environment that is safe, secure, and fair for all members of the Department of Correction.

General Responsibilities Include:

  1. Manage and oversee the routine operations of Benefit Plans, Pension Program, Drug and Alcohol Programs, and the Employee Recognition Program
  2. Manage all labor and employee relations routine operations
  3. Represent the Agency in bargaining negotiations and arbitration processes
  4. Serves as a partner to the Departments' Diversity and Inclusion Coalition
  5. Provide employee and leadership guidance, training, and support in the areas of:
    • Sexual Harassment
    • Diversity & Inclusion
    • Implicit Bias Awareness
    • Employee Performance Plan/Review Requirements
    • 210 Investigation Process
